INFORMATION / LINKS

The South American Explorers are an invaluable source of information for travelling in Peru, Ecuador, and most places in South America for that matter. They have clubhouses in Lima, Cusco, Quito and now Buenos Aires, where you can browse the member trip reports, use the library, leave your stuff in safe-keeping, meet other travellers, listen to talks and find out more about volunteering. An excellent choice if you're going to travelling for any period of time. They also have a great magazine, of which I'm Contributing Editor. See their website here.
